These unique cutters reduce time and power requirements by cutting larger diameter holes as a ring to produce a solid slug.
The power requirements are a fraction of those needed when using a twist drill or indexable tooling. The multiple teeth cut only the
outer diameter of the hole and yield a super fast reamed quality hole. SPIRA-BROACH™ tools are manufactured using powdered metal
M-42 cobalt steel and allow speeds 30-40% higher than high speed steel annular cutters. In many applications SPIRA-BROACH cutters
will more than double tool life between resharpenings.
