Special Axial and Radial flute design speed work piece penetration. The 135°split point self centers and easily starts with no pilot hole required. Dual flute construction drills clean accurate holes in thin materials, quickly and easily. Use for all thin metals, rigid plastics, wood or composite materials with a thickness equal to or less than the step thickness. When drilling steel with 1/8" or greater thickness, a starter hole of the smallest step diameter will speed the drilling process.

Burrout™ Brad Point Super Premium
These high performance drills made from Hi-Moly tool steel will cut holes in wood or plastics and leave no burr. They will also drill splinter free holes in wood. The special BURROUT™ point cuts at the circumference of the hole to avoid the break through burr problems common with standard point drills. When drilling into higher tensile strength metals such as cold rolled steel; a small pilot hole may prove helpful since the center spur does not cut aggressively.
