Airfab flap wheels provide versatile, high performance abrasive tools for sanding, blending, bleading, polishing, buffing, derusting, deburring, surface smoothing and finishing of hard and soft metals (ferrous and non-ferrous) rubber, plastic and wood. Especially practical for narrow and wide grooves in small, difficult to reach cavities and recesses such as concave and convex areas, inside tubes and pipes, moulds, dies and small metal patterns.

Suitable for hundreds of jobs in a wide range of maintenance, repair and production operations, including machine shop and welding applications, these wheels provide easily controlled uniform finishes on any surface, flat, contoured, or irregular for the entire life of the wheel.

ALL models employ the finest aluminum oxide resin bonded abrasive cloths in grit sizes from 40 to 320 particles per square inch.

SERIES "AFM" - 1/4 SHAFT MOUNTED FLAP WHEELS

Each flap is permanently bonded to a hard solid polyester core (HUB), into which a sturdy balanced shaft has been anchored. Wheels are self dressing, conforming and resilient. The action of flaps provides conformity to contour and other shapes.

Available in standard sizes from 3/4" to 3" diameters in grit sizes from 40 to 320. Generally used on drill presses and lathes, flexible shaft machines, point and die grinders, portable drills and other power tools.

1/4" shaft is standard. Some models are available with 1/4-20 threaded shafts a special.
